Fire Department & First Response Team

The Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department provides our citizens and visitors with high quality emergency responses to fire, rescue, and hazardous material incidents.  The Department is staffed with an all-volunteer force.  Fire Department phone number is 802-500-1816.

Volunteering
Anyone interested in joining the Fire Department or First Response Team please contact Fire Chief, Jim Allen at 802-384-3482 or Assistant Chief, Angela Kissell at 802-500-1815.  The minimum requirements are:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; and
• Must be a legal resident of the Town of Plymouth; and
• Must possess a valid Vermont Operator’s License; and
• Must be a citizen in good standing as determined by the Department.

Burn permits are required for outside burning within the Town of Plymouth and can be obtained by calling Forest Fire Warden Jim Allen at (802) 384-3482.
